We offer wealth management, financial advising, financial planning and investment management, along with retirement planning, legacy planning, tax management and life insurance consulting. About Our Practice

Financial Advisor Monmouth Beach is a local advisory practice serving clients along the Jersey Shore. We work with people at many stages of life: young families starting to save, business owners thinking about succession, couples approaching retirement and retirees deciding how to draw income and pass on what they have built.

We believe a financial relationship should feel calm and orderly. That means honest answers, plain language and a schedule you can rely on. When we say a plan will be ready on a certain day, we work to that date, and when something outside our control pushes it back, you hear it from us first.

How We Work With Clients

Good advice depends on good pacing. We set expectations early, keep them in writing and tell you plainly when a date needs to move.

A timeline before any work begins
At the start, we map out what happens and when: when we gather documents, when your draft plan is ready and when we meet to review it. You know the next date before you leave each meeting.
Updates when plans change
Sometimes a statement arrives late, a custodian takes longer to move an account or your own situation changes. When that happens, we contact you with the reason and a revised date instead of letting the calendar slip quietly.
Meetings that fit your week
Meet at our office, by phone or over video. We keep appointment windows short and specific, so a review fits around work, school pickups or a business day.
Clear explanations, no pressure
We explain what we recommend and why, including the tradeoffs. If a product or strategy is not a good fit for your goals, we say so, and you are never rushed into a decision.
One plan that connects the pieces
Investments, retirement income, insurance and estate wishes affect each other. We look at them together so a choice in one area does not quietly undo progress in another.

What Shapes the Cost of Working With Us

Advisory fees depend on the scope of the work and how much ongoing attention your situation needs. We explain how our compensation works during the introductory meeting, before you commit to anything. Here is what tends to move the figure.

We go over our fee structure and what it covers on the phone and in the introductory meeting. You receive the details in writing before any work starts, with no surprise charges later.

Scope of the engagement
A single question, such as how close you are to retiring at a certain age, takes less work than a full financial plan covering investments, insurance, taxes and estate goals.
One-time plan or ongoing relationship
Some clients want a written plan and a follow-up review. Others prefer continuing portfolio management and regular check-ins, which involves more of our time throughout the year.
Number and type of accounts
Several brokerage accounts, old workplace retirement plans, trusts or accounts held at different custodians take more time to review, coordinate and keep current.
Business ownership and complexity
Owning a business, holding equity compensation or managing rental property adds planning work around cash flow, succession and tax timing.
Coordination with other professionals
When your plan involves an attorney, accountant or insurance carrier, we spend time aligning recommendations and sharing information so the pieces fit.

Questions Clients Often Ask

What happens in the introductory meeting?

We ask about your goals, the accounts you hold today and what prompted you to get in touch. Then we describe how we work, which of our services may suit you and how our compensation is set up. You are under no obligation to go further, and you are welcome to take whatever time you need to decide.

How long does it take to get a financial plan?

That depends on how quickly your documents come together and how much ground the plan needs to cover. At the outset we give you a realistic target date for the draft and for the meeting where we review it. If either date has to move, we explain the reason and give you a new one.

Is there a minimum account size to become a client?

We prefer to hear about your situation before talking numbers. Describe where things stand when we speak by phone, and we will give you a straight answer about whether our services make sense for you at this point.

Can we meet by video instead of at your office?

Of course. Video and phone meetings work well, and plenty of our reviews take place that way. Some people like to sit down at the office for the first conversation and move to video later on. Either way, the meeting goes on the calendar at a set time, so you are not left waiting for a call.

How often will we meet once we are working together?

Continuing clients usually have their reviews booked well ahead of time. Between those dates, we get in touch if a market shift, a change in tax rules or something new in your life deserves a conversation.

Do you prepare tax returns?

Our tax management work is about planning, such as when to take withdrawals, which accounts hold which investments and how today's choices affect future taxes. We are happy to coordinate with your accountant or tax preparer so the plan and the return agree.

Will you pressure me to buy life insurance?

No. Our life insurance consulting begins by asking whether you need coverage at all, and if you do, how much and for how long. Sometimes the coverage you already have is enough, and in that case we tell you so.

What Happens After You Reach Out

Working with us follows a steady, predictable rhythm. Each step has a date you can plan around.

  1. 1

    A short phone conversation

You tell us what prompted the call, and we answer your first questions. Then we set a time for an introductory meeting that suits you.

  2. 2

    The introductory meeting

We talk through your goals, your family and your concerns. We also lay out our approach and our compensation in plain terms, so you can picture what an engagement would involve and roughly how long each stage takes.

  3. 3

    Gathering and analysis

If you decide to move forward, we send a simple list of documents to collect and set a target date for your draft plan. If anything delays our side, we let you know right away.

  4. 4

    Your plan, explained in person

We walk you through the recommendations, the reasoning behind them and the order to act on them. Nothing moves until you are comfortable.

  5. 5

    Ongoing reviews

For continuing clients, reviews are scheduled ahead of time, and we reach out sooner when markets, tax rules or your circumstances change in a way that matters.
